Some romances aren’t about falling in love — they’re about staying in it. KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama A Love Other Than Yours just dropped its first teaser, and it’s already tugging at something rawer than the usual first-spark love story: what happens when a decade-long relationship starts to shift.

## What the Drama Is About

The series follows Namgoong Ho ([Seo Kang-jun](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seo_Kang-jun)) and Lee Mi-do (Ahn Eun-jin), a couple in their tenth year of dating, as they navigate unexpected emotional changes in a relationship that once felt completely familiar. It’s billed as a realistic romance — less fairy tale, more honest reckoning with long-term love.

## What the Teaser Shows

The clip traces their relationship from its earliest roots as childhood friends at age seven, through school-age years, and into adulthood, where their bond turns romantic. Lee Mi-do’s voice-over reflects on their most passionate early days: “Every moment was passionate and exciting, and so we only had eyes for one another.” Later, Namgoong Ho watches her thrive on a film set pursuing her dream of becoming a director, narrating, “Your dream made my heart flutter, and I couldn’t help but love you.”

## Why This Premise Stands Out

Most K-drama romances build toward the couple getting together — this one starts after that’s already happened, years later. Focusing on a decade-long relationship going through emotional turbulence gives A Love Other Than Yours a more grounded, mature angle that could resonate with viewers tired of standard meet-cute formulas.
