The Californian electric carmaker has shared a report recently that shows the number of vehicles it produced in 2020. However, its far to meets its millions of demand but is catching up pace now having 3 Gigafactories up and running.
Though it has plans of expanding in Germany and Texas, these Gigafactories will take some time for development. But in 2020 alone Tesla has reached almost half a million figure, thanks to its strong demand of both Model 3 and Y.
As we see in the figures, in Q4 2020, Tesla produced 178,757 vehicles while delivering 180,570 of them. This is mostly due to the strong sales of Model 3 & Model Y while almost 16,000 Model S/X where made.
In 2020, Tesla delivered a whopping 499,550 vehicles and producing 509,737 of them, where almost 90% of them where Model 3/Y. These figures are still impressive considering there were worldwide lockdowns and the disruption in the economy due to the pandemic.
