The Honor 400 Lite made its debut in global markets recently as the first model in the series, and the lineup may soon expand with standard and Pro models. These new phones will replace the Honor 300 series from last year. The renders reveal that the Honor 400 will feature a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera along with slim bezels and flat edges. In contrast, the Honor 400 Pro will have a quad-curved screen with a pill-like hole-punch cutout. The volume rocker and power button will sit on the right edge (the Pro model) will emphasize rounded edges, while the standard model has a more boxy frame. The Honor 400 Pro will feature a triple-camera module on the rear with “200MP AI Camera” etched, while the Honor 400 has dual cameras with an LED flash.
The Honor 400 Pro will be available in grey and black colors, while the Honor 400 will be offered in gold and black colors. As for the Honor 400, the display of the device is expected to benefit from hardware-level changes such as the 120Hz AMOLED display with peak brightness of 5,000 nits, a slight downgrade from the 6.7-inch display in the Honor 300. It may also feature Dynamic Dimming, AI Defocus EyeCare, AI Circadian Night Display, along with low blue light and an ultra-dark mode.
It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and is speculated to have a 200MP primary OIS camera, along with a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP front-facing camera for selfies. The handset will feature a 5,300mAh silicon-carbon battery with a 66W SuperCharge solution. The phone will boot MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15 and comes with features like Circle to Search, Google Lens, and Magic Portal. Additional features could include IP65 water resistance, SGS Five-Star drop resistance, NFC, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and stereo speakers.
AI features such as AI Translation, AI Writing Tools, and AI Subtitles are expected. The Honor 400 Pro should have a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with the same bumps as the Honor 400. The phone will have a 5,300mAh battery with 100W fast charging that can charge 50% in 15 minutes.
It will also run on MagicOS 9.0 and include features like Google Gemini, Deepfake Detection, and AI Cooling. For durability, the Pro model will have an IP68/IP69 rating for water and dust resistance. Gaming features such as GPU Turbo X Game Engine, AI Performance Boost, and Honor Turbo RAM are expected. Pricing details for the Honor 400 and 400 Pro remain undisclosed. The Honor 300 started at CNY 2,299 (around ₹26,800), while the Honor 300 Pro began at CNY 3,399 (approximately ₹39,700). It is unclear if these models will be available in India.
