A recent rumor has come out regarding Xiaomi saying that it is currently working on a tablet, named Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 that may be launched next year. Apart from this tablet, another foldable smartphone could be there from Xiaomi in 2021. As of now, Xiaomi has not shared its name, but a codename “Cetus” has popped out and it could be the codename for that foldable smartphone on which Xiaomi is currently working.

In terms of the tablet Mi Pad 5, it could be the successor of the Mi Pad 4 Plus, launched in 2018. In this era, smartphone manufacturers all over the world are turning their interests from tablets to smartphones and smartphones to foldable/flip smartphones.
