HP has been in a bit of a frenzy this year. The OEM has already upgraded most of its last year’s entries to intel’s latest Evo platform, and the company is in no mood of stopping. Recently, it has brought the power of Intel’s 11th generation processors to its two more notebooks.
HP ZBook Firefly 14 G8
The notebook was already a lightweight, portable workstation with some fantastic specs in the market, and the addition of Tiger Lake has the machine a significant performance boost. Buyers get a choice of Intel 11th gen Core i5-1135G7 and Core i7-1165G7 Tiger Lake processors. The notebook comes with 32 GB DDR4-2666 dual-channel soldered RAM and up to 2 TB NVMe drives. The manufacturer is also providing optional Intel Optane H10 32 GB with the 512 GB SSD option for the ZBook Firefly 14 G8.
HP’s Firefly 14 G8 also comes with a discrete NVIDIA T500 GPU in addition to intel’s Iris Xe graphics. Offering a full-HD display with 500-nits 100% DCI-P3 HP DreamColor PANTONE-validated panel, the ZBook Firefly 14 G8 offers touch and non-touch display choices.

HP ZBook Firefly 15 G8
The device offers similar specs to that of the Firefly 14 G8 but comes with a 15.6-inch screen and is slightly heavier. The Firefly 15 G8 also offers the choice between the Core i5-1135G7 and the Core i7-1165G7 CPUs. But the machine comes with 64 GB DDR4-3200 dual-channel RAM. However, on the graphics side, the device offers Quadro T500 graphics capable of handling many creative tasks with ease.
