ZTE has launched the first-ever under-display selfie camera smartphone ZTE Axon 20 5G back in September in China. Now, the company has opened the door to grab this beauty in front of the world. ZTE has finally launched this ZTE Axon 20 smartphone for the global market. The smartphone will start shipping on December 21 and if you want to grab one of them, you can reserve it right now just by typing your email address (there are limited numbers of units available right now as per ZTE). ZTE Axon 20 5G specifications

The dual-SIM (Nano) ZTE Axon 20 5G runs on Android 10 OS and is powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 765G SoC processor. This phone has three different combinations of its RAM and internal storage. They are as follows: 6GB + 128GB variant, 8GB + 128GB variant and 8GB + 256GB variant. Users can extend their storage by external MicroSD card and the storage is expandable up to 2TB. This phone has four color options. They are Blue, Black, Orange, and Purple.

Now let’s talk about the display. This phone features a huge 6.92-inches full HD+ (1,080×2,460 pixels) display with an aspect ratio of 20:5:9. The display has a 90Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display also supports 10-bit color and covers 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut.

In terms of cameras, the ZTE Axon 20 5G has a quad rear camera setup which includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor, and finally a 2-megapixel quaternary sensor. The twist is in the front camera. You can’t find a front camera as it is not visible. This phone comes with a 32-megapixel front camera sensor that stays hidden until you need it. This is called the “Under-Display Selfie Camera”. You can easily open your front camera and nobody can even see it.

Let’s talk about the connectivity options of this phone. This phone supports 4G as well as 5G connectivity (as the name suggests) and it also includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G, GPS, NFC, a USB Type-C port for charging. It has a decent battery of 4,220mAH with the support of 30W fast charging. This phone has a dimension of 172.1×77.9×7.9mm and it weighs 198 grams.
