ZTE Axon 20 5G Extreme Edition will arrive with 12GB RAM and an Orange faux leather back

ZTE already released the ZTE axon 20 5G smartphone, it is the world’s first smartphone to introduce an “Under-Display Selfie Camera”. Now the company is going to update the storage configuration with 12 GB RAM and an Orange faux leather back dubbed Axon 20 5G Extreme Edition.

Apart from this, the other specifications of this phone remain the same. So let’s check out all the specifications of this phone.

The dual-SIM (Nano) ZTE Axon 20 5G Extreme version runs on Android 10 OS and ZTE’s Mifavor10.5 and is powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 765G SoC processor. The Extreme Version of this phone will have 12GB RAM and 256GB inbuilt storage configuration whereas the old version has 6GB + 128GB variant, 8GB + 128GB variant and 8GB + 256GB variant. Users can extend their storage by external MicroSD card and the storage is expandable up to 2TB.

Now let’s talk about the display. This phone features a huge 6.92-inches full HD+ (1,080×2,460 pixels) display with an aspect ratio of 20:5:9. The display has a 90Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display also supports 10-bit color and covers 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut.

In terms of cameras, the ZTE Axon 20 5G Extreme Version also has a quad rear camera setup which includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor, and finally a 2-megapixel quaternary sensor. The twist is in the front camera. You can’t find a front camera as it is not visible. This phone comes with a 32-megapixel front camera sensor that stays hidden until you need it. This is called the “Under-Display Selfie Camera”. You can easily open your front camera and nobody can even see it.

This phone supports 4G as well as 5G connectivity (as the name suggests) and it also includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G, GPS, NFC, a USB Type-C port for charging. It has a decent battery of 4,220mAH with the support of 30W fast charging. This phone has a dimension of 172.1×77.9×7.9mm and it weighs 198 grams.

Regarding the price, the Extreme Version of this phone will be sold at CNY 3498 ($532), but there is no information regarding the release date till now.
