Tata Sierra EV
Tata Sierra: The Sierra, one of the most awaited models from Tata, is expected to come back as the new-generation Sierra is based on the brand’s new-born Gen 2 platform. With a variety of buyers in mind, the Sierra will likely be offered in ICE and EV forms. This EV variant will be armed with a 60-80 kWh battery that can offer over 500 km range. ICE variant can share a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol mill that churns out 170 PS and 280 Nm of power or the 2.0-litre diesel option. The production model is slated to be unveiled at the expo.
Tata Harrier EV
A couple of new vehicles will also be unveiled, including the Tata Harrier EV. There will probably be an entry-level single-motor model for those wanting to get in nice and cheap, and a higher-performance dual-motor all-wheel-drive model, too. Harrier EV charging and battery details have not been disclosed yet; however, the EV is likely to deliver a range of 450-550 km. It shares its design with the regular Harrier, albeit the styling of the EV version will be different.
Tata Safari EV
Tata also has plans for the Safari EV which is set to be launched in February 2025 as part of its continued efforts in electrification. The new model will adopt the traditional three-row layout in six- and seven-seat variants and will borrow its powertrain and battery options from the Harrier EV. The Safari EV is targeted at those with families and gets the ideal balance of eco-focused performance and practicality.
Tata Harrier Petrol
The expo will also see the unveiling of a petrol-powered Tata Harrier with a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that makes 170 PS and 280 Nm of torque, mated to manual and dual-clutch automatic transmissions. This variant is expected to provide a lower-cost entry into the Harrier lineup.
Facelifted Tata Punch
Tata Motors will also update its ICE offerings, starting with the Punch micro-SUV. The revised exteriors, updated interiors, and added features of the mid-cycle facelift model will come with the same 1.2-litre petrol engine. These updates are intended to keep the Punch competitive in the booming compact SUV space.
New Tata Tiago and Tigor Facelift
Lastly, Tata is slated to unveil updated versions of the Tiago hatchback and Tigor sedan. These facelifts will gain design tweaks as well as interior updates and new features. The electric versions of these cars, Tiago EV and Tigor EV, are also in line to receive matching upgrades to further bolster Tata’s EV supremacy.
