Now, a leak has revealed some key processor and battery details of the iQOO Z10 series smartphones that are expected to launch soon. The series is said to have at least two smartphones, and one (or all of the models) is further speculated to pack a massive 7,000mAh battery per the leak. Verily, this is an enormous capacity specially designed for the Turbo direction, while the company is also said to be testing a one-cell silicon battery.

iQOO Z10 Series to Feature Snapdragon 8s Elite and MediaTek Dimensity Chips, 7,000mAh Battery

This indicates that the phone running a Snapdragon processor is iQOO Z10 Turbo, although the leak cannot confirm the same either. This aligns with what this leaker had previously said and another reputable leaker called Smart Pikachu, who stated that the Turbo variant would be driven by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8s Elite CPU. The device number in the iQOO Z10 lineup is likely with the Mediatek Dimensity processor, giving users power from both ecosystems.

Previous reports had also suggested that the Z10 Turbo will come with a dual-camera setup on the rear panel, with the primary camera boasting a resolution of 50 MP. In terms of display, the device will reportedly feature an OLED flat panel with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a resolution of 1.5K, making it ideal for delivering solid performance to the mid-range consumer segment. The iQOO Z10 Turbo will face competition from the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, which is expected to feature the same Snapdragon 8s Elite processor.

The Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro, another smartphone set that uses the same chipset, will focus on selfie-centric features and target a more fashion-conscious audience, while the iQOO and Redmi devices will emphasize high performance. The iQOO Z9 series was launched in April 2024, and the Z10 series is expected to follow a similar timeline, with a potential launch in April 2025. This would continue iQOO’s trend of releasing annual updates for its Z-series lineup.
