Oppo has launched in Oppo A15 smartphone back in October this year. Now, the company is looking to launch its sibling, the Oppo A15s in the upcoming days. As of now, the upcoming Oppo A15 has been spotted on several certifications websites. Recently, this phone has appeared on Malaysia’s SIRIM certification website in which the company has confirmed its global launch.
Regarding the model number, a report has come out that a device with model number CPH2179 appeared on the SIRIM database. At about one month ago, the same model number has also appeared on Singapore’s IMDA and Europe’s EEC certification. All those listings have confirmed that the upcoming smartphone is the Oppo A15s.
As of now, the company has not shared any information regarding the specifications of the upcoming Oppo A15s. The only thing we came to know that it will come with GSM, LTE support. So, there will be only 4G connectivity support, not the latest 5G. In terms of availability, nothing is confirmed yet. But we can expect a global launch pretty soon. That is all we know right now regarding the upcoming Oppo A15s.
Oppo A15 specifications:
The Oppo A15 runs the ColorOS 7.2 out of the box which is based on the Android 10 OS and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor. Regarding the display, this phone offers 6.52-inch HD+(1600 x 720) screen with an AI brightness feature that learns from your preference and automatically adjusts brightness. This phone has a dew-drop notch display.
The MediaTek Helio P35 processor is paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The storage is also expandable up to 256GB via an external microSD card. In terms of camera, The Oppo A15 comes with a triple rear camera setup which includes a 13MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. For the selfies, this phone offers a 5MP selfie shooter at the front. The Oppo A15 comes in two different color variants: Dynamic Black and Mystery Blue.
Regarding the battery, this phone is fueled by a 4,230mAh battery with the support of a 10W charger (no support of fast charging). Apart from it, this phone has every other connectivity option, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and so on. This phone has a rear-mounted physical fingerprint scanner just below the rear camera module. Coming to the pricing, this Oppo A15 carries a price tag of Rs. 10,990 for the 3GB+32GB option.
