Honor 300 Series Design and Specs Leaked Ahead of Launch

The Honor 300 series is set for an upcoming launch in China, with details about the handsets gradually emerging. Key specifications for both the Honor 300 and Honor 300 Pro have already been leaked. Live images of the base variant revealed its design recently, and now Honor has released official renders of the front and back sides along with color options for the Honor 300 ahead of its launch. Separately, a tipster leaked the expected specifications of the phone with RAM and storage variants.

Honor unveiled the design of the Honor 300 in a Weibo post on Thursday. The handset will be available in four color options: “Lu Yanzi”, “Yulongxue”, “Tea Card Green”, and “Cangshan Ash” (translated from Chinese). The purple, blue, and white versions feature a marble-like pattern on the rear panel. On its rear panel, the top left is home to an asymmetrical hexagonal camera module that carries a dual camera setup and a pill-shaped LED flash.

On one side of the module, “Portrait Master” is engraved. Located at the far right edge are the phone’s power button and volume rocker. Honor also confirmed the thickness of the phone at 6.97mm. As per tipster Digital Chat Station, the Honor 300 may feature a dual rear camera with a 50-megapixel primary sensor. It is most likely to feature a plastic mid-frame, flat display, and an in-display optical fingerprint sensor. Also, the phone is tipped to have 100W wired fast charging capabilities.

Further information suggests that the base Honor 300 will come in multiple RAM and storage configurations, including 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 16GB+512GB. Previous leaks have indicated that the Honor 300 will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, a 1.5K OLED display, and wireless charging. The Pro variant is expected to include a 50-megapixel periscope camera.
