Samsung Galaxy A26 Renders Leak: New Design, Bigger Display, and Camera Changes
In India, the Galaxy A25 was launched late last year at a price of ₹26,999. The renders, which are CAD-based and also shared by OnLeaks with Android Headlines, show that the Galaxy A26 will retain flat edges in line with its predecessor. It will be replaced with a waterdrop notch on the front for the selfie camera, and then we have these very wide bezels, especially at the bottom.
There is a raised bulge on the right for the volume rocker and power button, which will presumably be used as a fingerprint sensor as well. On the left side is likely the SIM tray, and at the bottom edge of the device, we also see a USB Type-C port, speaker vent, and microphone. There is no 3.5mm audio jack though, According to the report, the A26 might just be a polycarbonate body like the A25 which is unconfirmed.
The triple camera sensors will be housed within a big rectangular housing on the back, similar to the design language as seen with the Galaxy A36. The LED flash is positioned outside the camera module. In contrast, the Galaxy A25 had a triple camera setup without any casing or borders.
The Samsung Galaxy A26 is said to measure 164 x 77.5 x 7.7mm (9.7mm with the camera bump), compared to the Galaxy A25’s 161.0 x 76.5 x 8.3mm. The display size is expected to increase to 6.64 inches from the A25’s 6.5-inch display, though these details could vary at launch.
The phone recently appeared on Geekbench, suggesting it might feature the Exynos 1280 chipset, 6GB of RAM, and Android 15. Given that the A25 launched in December, the Samsung Galaxy A26 may debut around the same time.
