Anil Sharma has recently released a preview of his movie “Vanvaas,” starring Nana Patekar and Utkarsh Sharma in roles, in the film industry sphere—a touching delve into the essence of familial bonds and values like integrity and dedication awaits viewers across screens very soon! Renowned for his creations such, as “Apne,” “Gadar: Ek Prem Katha,” and “Gadar 2 ” Sharma teams up more with Zee Studios to weave a tale that revolves around the strong ties of family and enduring principles of commitment and responsibility.

Vanvaas Teaser Out!

The teaser, shared on social media, begins with a message from the filmmakers: “Some stories bring us closer to family. This festive season, prepare for a journey through heartfelt emotions.” The teaser starts with a verse highlighting the bond between a father and his son by comparing it to a connection, with God’s presence, in their lives depicted through Patekar’s character on a spiritual journey seeking his son’s support but facing abandonment instead.

Sharma is observed in prayer at a temple before a jolting moment unfolds at Patekar characters funeral. The teaser wraps up with Patekar questioning his son and whether he should have abandoned him at birth. The film’s tagline hints that family members can sometimes be the cause of a Vanvaas (exile), referencing Lord Ram’s 14-year exile in the Ramayana, which was a promise to his stepmother, Kaikeyi.

Vanvaas seems to delve into the heartbreaking theme of children neglecting their elderly parents. Before the teaser concludes, glimpses of Sharma’s previous works, such as Gadar, Gadar 2, and Apne, indicate that Vanvaas will offer a similarly emotional and family-oriented experience. With a script penned, directed, and produced by Sharma, the film is set to resonate with audiences of all ages, promising powerful performances and a richly emotional narrative. Distributed by Zee Studios, Vanvaas is scheduled for a global release on December 20, 2024.
