Polish YouTuber Karolina Goswami  has got threats

Polish YouTuber Karolina Goswami, known for her popular channel “India in Details,” recently shared a video where she is seen walking with security guards in India, following threats allegedly made by supporters of Dhruv Rathee. The video, which has since gone viral with over 4 million views on Instagram, has sparked widespread discussion.

In the clip, Goswami confidently declares, “We fear nothing. We will continue living in India,” even after reportedly receiving over 220 threats earlier this year. These threats followed her critical analysis of Rathee’s YouTube content, in which she accused him of spreading “anti-India propaganda.” In response, Rathee’s supporters allegedly targeted Goswami and her family, resulting in harassment and threats, some of which included deeply disturbing messages like rape threats.

Karolina Goswami, who has made India her home, has been vocal in her stance against misinformation and has used her platform to challenge what she perceives as biased content. In her videos, she directly addressed Rathee’s audience, accusing him of publishing fake news and calling for a ban on his social media platforms. The backlash from Rathee’s supporters was swift, with threats escalating to a point where Goswami felt the need to appeal for protection.

According to Goswami, this is not the first time her family has been targeted. She and her husband claim they were attacked in Germany by Rathee’s supporters in 2023. The alleged incident involved their car being vandalized and personal devices being stolen. This series of events has only strengthened her resolve, as Goswami remains committed to continuing her work and residing in India.

Despite the lack of government intervention regarding her request for protection, Karolina remains defiant. She has shared her determination to keep living in India, although she and her family plan to avoid settling in one particular city, preferring instead to move around the country for safety reasons.
