According to India Blitz, Aamir Khan and Rajinikanth are all set to team up after 3 decades in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s next action-thriller movie Coolie. The report further said that Aamir Khan may also play a small part in the film which will be their second action collaboration after they worked together on a crime drama, ‘Aatank Hi Aatank’ (1995).
The report also mentioned that Lokesh will soon work with Aamir on a project after Coolie which could have his directorial Bollywood debut. No official announcement has been made yet regarding these claims, but still no confirmation from the team or any of the actors.
Aamir Khan to Reunite with Rajinikanth
Apart from his illustrious South Indian Hindi film career in Tamil especially, he has also appeared in Bollywood films like Andha Kanoon, Meri Adalat, John Jani Janardhan, Wafadaar, Geraftaar, Bhagwaan Dada, Farshtey, and Hum. Rajinikanth is currently shooting for Coolie in Vizag.
Joining him in the cast are Shruti Haasan, Upendra, Sathyaraj, and Soubin Shahir among others. He will next be seen in TJ Gnanavel’s star-studded film Vettaiyan which also features an ensemble cast comprising Amitabh Bachchan, Fahad Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, and Ritika Singh among others.
Aamir Khan began his Bollywood journey with Ketan Mehta’s Holi and delivered memorable films like Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, Dil, Rangeela, Raja Hindustani, Ishq, Ghulam, and Sarfarosh.
