BTS Jin Drops Extended Version of “Super Tuna” Following Military Discharge

On October 11, BTS member Jin released an extended version of his popular single “Super Tuna,” which originally debuted on December 4, 2021. They quickly found favor amongst fans, as the fun and basic tune about tuna and different assortments of ocean nourishment was a snappy tune that seemed to demonstrate truth be told.

All About the BTS Jin’s Extended ‘Super Tuna’

BIG HIT MUSIC, BTS’ label, shared an announcement on October 10, saying, “Get ready for the new and improved ‘Super Tuna,’ which will bring joy and excitement once again! We hope this song fills your days with laughter and happiness. Thank you for always cherishing and supporting BTS.” Along with this announcement, Jin also premiered a brand-new music video for the extended version of “Super Tuna,” adding to the excitement surrounding the release.

It marks the first musical output from Jin since he concluded his compulsory military service on June 12. The track arrives after his previous single “The Astronaut”, shared in October 2022. “Super Tuna” went live during the 2024 FESTA, an event hosted by Jin on June 13, celebrating his comeback from military service and supported by fans.

Apart from music, Jin has also participated in many other activities since his popular days. As a result, he became a torchbearer representing South Korea in the 2024 Paris Olympics and gained worldwide fame. Additionally, Jin has been appointed a global brand ambassador for high-profile brands including FRED Jewelry, for which he is the first-ever male global ambassador, and, more recently for Gucci.

This long-awaited “Super Tuna” is Jin’s energetic return to singing and definitely will bring delight to the fans. Expected to be a favorite among ARMYs with its upbeat mood and infectious excitement, the song will do Jin no harm at all in terms of music or global ambassadorships.
