Formerly known as JECRC CF, the rebrand to Rajasthan United saw the club make it to the I-League in 2021. This past summer, they were the subject of significant interest as Shrachi Group took over the club to further its development.
With the stadium now set to host the Desert Warriors, fans from the state can finally attend their games and support them. On the other hand, it will also help football generate a strong presence in the west and accelerate its growth.
Following the takeover, it remains to be seen if the club can make it to the ISL, with competition for the top spot incredibly high.
