Champions League 24-25 night two results: City and Inter draw

Night two of the Champions League 24-25 season saw Manchester City and Inter Milan face off in a repeat of the 2022 final. The two teams played out a draw to start off their campaign in the new format. On the other hand, Borussia Dortmund picked up a comfortable 3-0 win over Belgian club Brugge.

Celtic had the biggest win of the night, defeating Slovan Bratislava 5-1 to start off their campaign strongly. On the other hand, Slavia Prague thrashed RB Salzburg 3-0 to hand the Austrian champions a big defeat as well.

  • Celtic 5-1 Slovan Bratislava
  • Club Brugge 0-3 Borussia Dortmund
  • Bologna 0-0 Shakhtar Donetsk

PSG picked up their first win of the new format against UCL debutants Girona. Albeit weakened significantly over the summer, the LaLiga side managed to put up a strong fight and lost by a respectable 1-0 scoreline.

On the other hand, Bologna also played out a 0-0 draw with Shakhtar Donetsk in one of the early kick off matches as well. The new format of the tournament now has three matchdays over the week, with Thursday nights also designated to the tournament.
