Aaron Ramsdale is all set to join Southampton from Arsenal. The two clubs have agreed a fee worth £25 million for the goalkeeper, who will be leaving Arsenal after spending three seasons with the Gunners.
The 26-year-old made the move to North London from Sheffield United, after a highly promising season. But just two years later, he found himself behind David Raya who joined the club from Brentford.

Ramsdale’s reported lack of sufficient ball playing ability was the reason behind bringing in Raya. And with the Spaniard firmly established as the number one goalkeeper at the club, Arsenal are likely to move for Espanyol’s Joan Garcia in the coming hours.
The former Sheffield United goalkeeper will leave having made 89 appearances for Arsenal across all competitions and keeping 32 clean sheets.
