Joao Cancelo is set to join Al Hilal from Manchester City, with an agreement in place between the two clubs. The right-back is set to make the move for €25 million including add-ons.
He has already accepted the contract proposal from the Saudi Arabian club, and will sign a three-year contract worth €15 million per season. The player has already completed the first part of his medical tests, and will soon undergo the remaining tests to finalise the move.

The 30-year-old spent this past season on loan at Barcelona, but the Spanish giants were unable to sign him permanently. Now, Cancelo will be leaving Manchester permanently after he was written off the first team a year and a half ago.
Barcelona had retracted their statement acknowledging the departure of the Portuguese defender, as they were hopeful of bringing him back. However, City only wanted a permanent departure at the club’s financial situation wouldn’t allow a move.
Now, Cancelo will be replacing Saud Abdulhamid at Al Hilal, with the Saudi Arabia international joining Roma. It remains to be seen if the Blues can continue their domination in the Saudi Pro League with the addition of the Portugal international to their ranks.
