Liverpool are exploring a transfer for Federico Chiesa from Juventus, with the player excluded from the Bianconeri’s squad. He was informed earlier in the transfer window that he wasn’t in new manager Thiago Motta’s plans for the season, and is yet to find a new club.
The Italian could be available for a cheap price tag worth just €15 million, which could prove to be a bargain. Several clubs such as Barcelona, Tottenham and Chelsea have been linked with the Euro 2020 star, but none of them have put forward a formal bid to sign him.

The 26-year-old is open to joining the Reds and is eager to play in the Premier League as well. The move is still in its early stages, and both clubs will have to agree to a deal for the transfer to go through first.
Even if Federico Chiesa ends up joining Liverpool, he might not be the starting choice, given Mo Salah, Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo are already competing for game time.
But given the massive number of games to be played this season, he could get a fair share of minutes through rotation.
Have Liverpool signed any players this summer?
Only Giorgi Mamardashvili, who will join the squad next summer.
