Hyundai has announced the updated Hyundai ALCAZAR, a 6 and 7-seater SUV by revealing its interior design crafted to shine with an extravagant exterior appeal along with rich features. Launching next month, the updated premium SUV is set to have an aggressive road presence with luxurious comfort which will give it a good edge in mid-size SUV space.
The Hyundai ALCAZAR Facelift
The newly refined Hyundai ALCAZAR is featured in a luxurious dual-tone color of Noble Brown and Haze Navy. The cabin is a plush and high-tech space, sharing bits with fellow updated sibling Hyundai Creta. Just missed by Hyundai, images of brand ambassador Shah Rukh Khan look comfortable sitting in the second row inside the new ALCAZAR.
The interior now includes a twin 10.25-inch infotainment screen and digital instrument cluster, alongside a new horizontal ventilation design and a quilted seat pattern, enhancing the cabin’s sophisticated feel. The 6-seater pack provides captain seats in the second row that comes with improved cushioning as well as a folding armrest, on what is described as an infinite seat recline function; meanwhile, those willing to shell out for the larger capacity can enjoy sliding and tumbling mechanism.
The ALCAZAR facelift comes equipped with features like dual-zone automatic climate control, ventilated seats, and a panoramic sunroof for a premium driving experience. The front radar suggests Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), with up to 19 safety and convenience functions.
These updates make the ALCAZAR a strong competitor against models like the Mahindra XUV700, Tata Safari, and MG Hector. According to Mr. Tarun Garg, full-time director and Chief Operating Officer at Hyundai Motor India Limited, the new ALCAZAR combines a bold design with enhanced comfort, making it an ideal choice for both city commutes and long journeys.
Externally, the facelifted ALCAZAR features a larger front grille with horizontal chrome strips, split LED headlamps, and H-shaped LED DRLs connected by a light bar. The redesigned front bumper includes a new skid plate, while the rear sports a revamped bumper, tailgate, and connected LED tail lamps for a more modern appearance.
