Sevilla have completed the signing of Valentin Barco fron Brighton and Hove Albion on a loan deal for the 24-25 season. The move is a dry loan and doesn’t include an option to make the move permanent.
To replace the youngster, the Seagulls will be signing Ferdi Kadioglu from Turkish side Fenerbahce in a deal worth up to €30 million. The player is set to travel to England for his medical in the coming days.

Kadioglu had agreed personal terms with the Premier League club two weeks ago. He will be signing a five-year contract till 2029 with them once he has passed the medical tests.
On the other hand, Barco made the move to the Amex Stadium in January from Boca Juniors for a fee close to €9.5 million. In spite of making only six appearances, he was impressive, with his most prominent cameo coming against Chelsea.
However, the 20-year-old has now been loaned out to gain more playing time and develop his game further. It now remains to be seen how things turn out for him with the record Europa League winners.
Which number will Barco be wearing at Sevilla?
