Joao Cancelo could be on his way to Al Hilal, with reports emerging of an agreement with Manchester City over a fee worth €40 million. The Portuguese right-back has been offered a three-year contract worth around €70 million per season.
After his fallout with Pep Guardiola two seasons ago, the defender spent the second half of the 22-23 season on loan with Bayern Munich. This past season, he was on loan at Barcelona, who were unable to make his stay permanent.

The 30-year-old has been highly praised as a versatile defender, capable of playing on either side of the central defenders. However, his attitude proved to be a matter of trouble for Guardiola, which abruptly ended his stay at the Etihad.
And in spite of the Catalonian manager acknowledging that Joao Cancelo has been training with them, he hasn’t ruled out an exit, or the possibility of his inclusion. With Al Hilal’s approach, and exit now seems likely.
Should the move go through, Al Hilal right-back Saud Abdulhamid could move to AS Roma, with talks taking place between the two clubs for a potential transfer.
