Armando Broja is set to join Ipswich Town on loan for the 24-25 season. The deal has been given the here we go signal by Fabrizio Romano, meaning it is only a matter of time before it is made official by the two clubs.

The Albanian spent last season with the senior team, but had limited opportunities under Mauricio Pochettino, with Nicolas Jackson ahead of him in the pecking order. Now, he is being moved out on a loan with the obligation to buy for £30 million if the Tractor Boys can avoid relegation.

The striker will undergo his medical tests for the move in the coming hours, and will soon be announced as a new signing for the Premier League newcomers.

Ipswich Town needed a quality centre-forward, and with Broja showcasing his quality in the past for Southampton while on loan, he could be exactly what the club needs. The 22-year-old is in need of regular playing time as well, and it could be a perfect match if manager Kieran McKenna can get him firing.

Chelsea are also planning to move on Romelu Lukaku, Deivid Washington and David Datro Fofana in the striker department to make space on their books.
