Youssouf Fofana has officially signed for AC Milan from Monaco in a deal worth €25 million, which has now been confirmed. The midfielder has signed a four-year contract with the Rossoneri till 2028, and becomes a much-needed addition in defensive midfield for the club.
Negotiations between the two clubs took weeks, but Milan were finally able to get everything in order to facilitate the transfer. And now, they have confirmed that Fofana has arrived and is ready to play.

The 25-year-old had interest from West Ham United and Manchester United too, but was clear about his desire to join Milan. Now, he will wear the number 29 shirt at the club as was confirmed by the Italian side on their official website.
Paulo Fonseca’s side has had an interesting transfer window this far. They have signed Alvaro Morata, Strahinja Pavlovic and Emerson Royal to reinforce various positions, and have now added Youssouf Fofana.
According to the manager, the club will now work on a few departures to balance the books and trim the squad before the new season is in full swing.
