Emerson Royal has finally completed his transfer to AC Milan, with the club officially announcing his arrival on social media. Negotiations between the two sides took weeks, with both sides sticking to their valuations as difficult negotiators.
However, the eventually met in the middle to agree on a transfer fee worth €15 million for the Brazilian. And now, he has signed a contract till 2028 with the Rossoneri and becomes their third new signing of the season.

The 25-year-old has made over 100 appearances for Spurs since joining them in 2021. He was played in central defence last season amidst the club’s injury crisis.
With Pierre Kalulu in talks over a move to Juventus, Strahinja Pavlovic and Emerson Royal could provide Milan with a new option in defence heading into the new season.
Milan have also signed Alvaro Morata from Atletico Madrid to reinforce their attack after the departure of Olivier Giroud at the end of last season. They will begin their new season against Torino on Saturday.
