NorthEast United have added Alaeddine Ajaraie to their squad as their new striker for the 24-25 season. The player most recently played in the Moroccan top tier, after an impressive spell in the Qatari second division, where he finished as the top scorer to help Muaither SC earn promotion to the first division.
Now, the 31-year-old is set to play in India for the Highlanders, and has an impressive resume so far. He is expected to complete his transfer and join the squad for the Durand Cup soon.

This past season, he played for FAR Rabat in his home country, scoring three goals and providing four assists in 28 games across all competitions. Although he is primarily a striker, he can also play on either wing, which adds to his versatility.
Alaeddine Ajaraie becomes the second foreign centre-forward to join the club this summer. The Highlanders have already signed Guillermo Fernández to reinforce their attack, and it’ll be interesting to see how the newly added duo feature in the line-up.
NorthEast United have been drawn in Group E in the Durand Cup alongside Odisha FC, BSF FT and Bodoland.
