Matias Soule is set to join Roma in the coming days, as the deal is now in place with Juventus. The winger spent this past season on loan at Frosinone, and will now leave the Bianconeri permanently to move to the Italian capital.

Roma will pay a sum worth €26 million upfront for the winger, including a total of €4 million in add-ons. Juventus will also have a 10% sell-on clause, meaning they are entitled to a percentage of any future fee for Soule.

Matias Soule to join Roma on permanent transfer

This past season, the 21-year-old had a remarkable run with Frosinone, scoring 11 goals and providing three assists in 36 Serie A games. Leicester City were also interested in the young Argentine alongside Roma, but the Foxes were not able to convince the player to move.

With his contract expiring in 2026, Juventus had no realistic choice but to let Matias Soule leave since he wasn’t keen on signing a new deal.

Given that Roma have signed a talented winger from Juventus already, they may think twice about pursuing Federico Chiesa now. The Italian has been linked with Roma, and Juventus are open to letting him leave as well since he isn’t part of Thiago Motta’s plans for the new season. However, a move is yet to be finalised for Chiesa as things stand.
