Mohun Bagan SG have reached an agreement with Greg Stewart, and are set to sign him on a year-long deal. The Scottish playmaker will return to the ISL after spending two seasons with Jamshedpur FC and Mumbai City FC.
He left City in January to join Kilmarnock in his native country, but couldn’t get regular game time while there. Now, he is set to return and join the Mariners to help elevate their squad even further.

The 34-year-old has 21 goals and as many assists in 50 ISL games, which is a remarkable return. Moreover, he is versatile when going forward and can play through the middle of out wide as needed.
In all likelihood, he is being signed as the direct replacement for Hugo Boumous, who was sidelined for the second half of this past season. The two players have a similar style, and now that Boumous has joined Odisha FC, Greg Stewart is the new playmaker for the Mariners.
The veteran is expected to join his new club on the 29th of this month for their pre-season campaign, followed by the Durand Cup.
