FC Goa are close to signing Armando Sadiku from Mohun Bagan SG, having agreed personal terms with the striker. The news comes from TOI’s Marcus Mergulhao, who has reported that the transfer could be completed within the next couple of days.
Since the player has an agreement with Goa, all that remains to be sorted out is a mutual termination of his contract with Mohun Bagan. The Albanian still has one year remaining on his deal with the Mariners, and is expected to discuss the situation with them soon.

This past season, the 33-year-old scored eight goals and provided one assist in 21 ISL games. He also scored an important goal in the Durand Cup, helping the team win the trophy alongside the ISL League Shield.
Fans have been divided in their opinion of Armando Sadiku, however, with many wanting him out in spite of his performance this past season.
Mohun Bagan SG are in talks with former Jamshedpur FC and Mumbai City FC midfielder Greg Stewart over a potential transfer. This would leave Jason Cummings and Dimi Petratos as the first-choice strikers at the club, with both capable of playing in the position.
Who is Armando Sadiku’s cousin?
Granit Xhaka of Bayer Leverkusen
