Business Insider In a recent post, an internal timeline for the Android XR headset based on Qualcomm’s technology and being built by Samsung is revealed. The developer release could take place in October, followed by a consumer version launch as early as 2025. It will be based on Google’s new AR software and is designed to counter the Apple Vision Pro, with the internal code name “Moohan.”

The Vision Pro was finally raised in February, and initially, the headset had been set up to be launched back during quarter one of this year. But Samsung repeatedly postponed the release of the device, concluding that it was not ready to be launched. Though details on the launch model are still slim, we can expect more insight as we move toward that June 23 release date.
