Samsung Galaxy M35 5G India Launch Confirmed for July 17

Samsung Galaxy M35 5G will be launched in India this month, as confirmed by the company. Towards the beginning of this week itself, an Amazon banner raised speculations that it could be unveiled during the Amazon Prime Day Sale 2024. Samsung announced that the phone will be unveiled on July 17. The company has also shared some of the handset’s specs along with its launch date. The processor will be the Exynos 1380 in India as well, given it is only a global model.

The smartphone will be officially launched on July 17, said Samsung in a press release. This phone is likely to get an upgrade in terms of chipset and nothing major apart from that.

The Samsung Galaxy M35 5G will also be the first M-series phone to offer Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. The display will be an Infinity-O (HID) sAMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate and capable of reaching up to 1,000 nits brightness Both the Indian and global variants will feature a 5nm Exynos 1380 chipset, with a vapor cooling chamber to help in heat retention.

In terms of photography, the triple rear camera setup on Galaxy M35 5G will include a 50MP primary sensor. While specifications of the other sensors weren’t disclosed, this is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro lens as present on the international version. The front camera has a 13MP sensor for selfies and video calls as well, which means it mostly matches the Samsung Galaxy M34’s specs.

Samsung detailed a few camera features as well. Furthermore, the Galaxy M35 will offer Nightography mode for taking portrait and video shots during low light environs as well an Astrolapse feature to capture the time-lapse of the night sky. The smartphone will also have the Knox security platform and Knox Vault. Power will come from a 6,000mAh battery with support for watt charging output. According to leaks, the device will be launched at ₹15,999.
