Gray has accepted a deal till 2030 with the Lilywhites, and has reportedly completed the medical tests for the move as well. Once all the formalities are completed for his signing, the move will be announced by Spurs on their official outlets.
At only 18, Archie Gray made a name for himself by starting in Leeds’ Championship campaign this past season. The youngster made 44 appearances for the Yorkshire club this past season, playing over 3,600 minutes in the second division.
He won the Championship Young Player of the Season award for his contribution, and also registered the most tackles of any U-21 player in the division. With his arrival, it seems that Spurs have the first-choice central midfielder they wanted, and are set to turn away from Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher as the dynamo in the middle of the park.
