Just a year after joining PSG, Manuel Ugarte could be on the move, with Manchester United interested in signing the midfielder. The Parisians fought it out with Chelsea to sign the Uruguayan last summer from Sporting CP, but could sell him in what would be a surprising move.
Ugarte is currently on national team duty in the Copa America, and has played both of Uruguay’s matches so far.

Ugarte has interest also from other clubs, PSG are open to selling him this summer and he’s expected to leave.

The lack of Champions League football is not expected to be a deterrent for Ugarte over a move to Manchester United this summer. With Vitinha and Warren Zaire-Emery the regulars in midfield for the Parisians, Manuel Ugarte didn’t play as much as expected in his first season with PSG.
But now, he could join Casemiro at Old Trafford, with the squad needing another defensive midfielder to solidify their line-up for the coming season.
The two clubs are set to meet soon over the terms of a possible deal, but it certainly won’t be cheap given the player has four years remaining on his contract, and was signed for €60 million.
How many minutes did Ugarte play this season?
