Rafa Marin is set to join Napoli on a permanent deal from Real Madrid, with Los Blancos receiving over €10 million for the central defender. The youngster spent this past season on loan at Alaves, where he made 33 LaLiga appearances.
A return to Real Madrid was ruled out as an option as he wanted assurances over game time, and wanted to play regularly. Madrid are aware of his potential, and are pushing to include a buyback clause in his contract with Napoli.

Standing tall at 1.91m, the 22-year-old will be able to provide a strong physical for Antonio Conte’s new-look Napoli. He has already represented Spain at various youth levels, and has extensive experience in the Primera Division.

The two clubs are close to wrapping up the negotiations, with a final agreement expected within this week.
