Manchester United have decided that they want to sell Jadon Sancho this summer, and have set a £40 million asking price for the winger. Sancho joined United two summers ago for a massive fee worth around €85 million, but failed to replicate his Borussia Dortmund form in his home country.
After falling out with Erik Ten Hag early in 23/24, the winger spent the latter half of the campaign back on loan at Dortmund, progressing to the Champions League final alongside them. However, they came up short against Real Madrid at Wembley, ensuring another trophyless season.

United are absolutely certain that they want to sell Jadon Sancho this summer, even if Erik Ten Hag ends up leaving. Borussia Dortmund are one of the club’s interested in signing him, but the price might have to be lowered for the German club to finalise a deal.
According to Fabrizio Romano, there is another club interested in signing the Englishman as well, which remains unnamed.
It’s disappointing to see how Sancho’s career at United has turned out, considering the potential he showed back in the Bundesliga. However, he has turned things around back on loan with the black and yellow club.
