Alphonso Davies remains a concrete option for Real Madrid, with Bayern Munich waiting to hear on the contract offer they have presented. The 23-year-old’s contract with the German giants runs out in 2025, which means there is a chance he could leave for free if he doesn’t extend his deal.
And that would be perfectly in line with what Real Madrid have been doing over the past few years, with Kylian Mbappe being the latest to join them as a free agent. Right now, Bayern Munich are asking for a €50 million fee for the Canadian, which Real are not willing to pay unless it is under more favourable conditions.

Suffering from a heart problem and several injuries over the past few seasons, Davies hasn’t been able to continue his form from 2020. The player has dropped in form, but the quality remains intact, especially with his incredible pace still available.
And in spite of having Ferland Mendy and Fran Garcia at left-back, Real Madrid want a world class option to help complete their squad for the future. And Alphonso Davies is seen as the perfect option to help achieve this ambition.
However, Bayern still have a part to play in the decision, as they have given the player a new deal, and are waiting to hear back from his camp.
