Napoli have offered Antonio Conte a club record deal to become their new manager from the 24/25 season onwards. The Azzurri had a title defence to forget, finishing 10th in the table after their Scudetto-winning campaign under Luciano Spalletti.
Conte has been without a job since leaving Tottenham a year ago, and has been linked with a number of projects elsewhere to no avail. Now, the former Juventus and Inter boss will manage in Italy once again if a deal is finalised.

Key details to be discussed next week with de Laurentiis, still in Napoli on Monday for public event.

The deal offered to Conte runs until 2027 and is worth €6 million, alongside a €1 million bonus if Napoli can win the Serie A title. The fiery Italian will not have European football, which might affect the finances, but will also keep players fit since they won’t have to exert themselves as often.
The details of the contract are expected to be finalised within the next 2-3 days, after which an official announcement should confirm his appointment.
Conte might have to deal with the loss of Victor Osimhen, with the striker all set to leave this summer. Links have been drawn to a move for Romelu Lukaku already, with the Belgian’s future up in the air. While it would be a like-for-like replacement, Napoli’s finances might be cut too thin to finance the transfer unless they can strike a deal with Chelsea.
