Kumar has earned 13 caps for the Indian national team, and was a part of the squad that won the 2023 SAFF Championship. His experience will be instrumental in helping Odisha in the coming campaign, considering their ambition to contest for the title in the coming season.
Bengaluru FC have also signed Alberto Noguera, Jorge Pereyra Diaz and Rahul Bheke from Mumbai City FC to strengthen their squad. However, they are expected to make more new additions to their team for the coming season.
