The smartphone industry is constantly changing, and manufacturers are making groundbreaking efforts to deliver value products. Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco has in the meanwhile unveiled two new flagship assassins – The Poco F6 Pro and the Poco F6 5G, to make up for it.
These well-spec’d high-performance smartphones target two different consumer segments. The following article will bring the two smartphones head-to-head and help you to understand how these two compare to each other.
Poco F6 Pro vs Poco F6 5G
Display
First of all, both the Poco F6 Pro and F6 5G feature 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED displays with a high refresh rate for smooth user interaction. However, the Pro variant boasts a higher resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels, resulting in a pixel density of approximately 526 ppi, while the F6 5G offers a resolution of 1220 x 2712 pixels, providing a pixel density of around 446 ppi. Furthermore, the Pro model hits an amazing peak brightness of 4000 nits as compared to the F6 5G at 2400 nits hence better and brighter.
Performance
On the flip side, the Poco F6 Pro has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset built for the drive. The Pro comes with an octa-core CPU featuring Cortex-X3, Cortex-A715, Cortex-A710, and Cortex-A510 cores, with an Adreno 740 GPU. The energy in the F6 5G is thanks to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and its octa-core with Cortex-X4, Cortex-A720, and Cortex-A520, plus an Adreno 735 GPU. However, the Pro version may be a little more powerful in terms of CPU, since its clock speeds are higher.
Camera
The Poco F6 Pro has a triple-camera system with a primary 50 MP sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, and a small 2 MP macro lens, while the F6 5G features a 50 MP primary lens and an 8 MP ultrawide lens on a dual-camera system. Whereas the two devices are capable of shooting in HDR and having a few different modes, the Pro model can also record in 8K and do gyro-based electronic image stabilization.
Battery and Charging
Both smartphones come equipped with a 5000mAh battery, ensuring long-lasting usage. However, the charging speeds differ, with the Poco F6 Pro supporting 120W wired charging, capable of fully charging the battery in just 18 minutes, whereas the F6 5G offers 90W wired charging, slightly slower but still impressive.
