Borussia Dortmund have qualified for the Champions League 2024 finals defeating PSG 2-0 on aggregate. The German side won 1-0 in Paris to double their lead overall and return to Wembley Stadium for another edition of the European Cup final, nine years after their clash against rivals Bayern Munich at the same ground.
Mats Hummels scored the only goal of the second leg from a corner, after the 35-year-old was left completely unmarked at the far post. As a result, the black and yellow club have the opportunity to end the season with the biggest prize in European football.

PSG hit the frame of the goal thrice in the game, and were extremely unlucky to not convert any of the chances they had. Dortmund did incredibly well to retain their defensive shape when they were without the ball, and were effective on the counter attack.
Kylian Mbappe’s ambition to win the Champions League with PSG remains unfulfilled, with the France international expected to leave the club in June, when his deal runs out. Real Madrid are prepared to sign the forward, and the exit from the UCL might have accelerated the announcement.
Dortmund head into the finals as the underdogs once again. They could have a repeat of the 2013 finals against Bayern Munich, or face Real Madrid, who are looking for a 15th title. The black and yellow club have only won the trophy once, back in 1997 when they defeated Juventus.
