Ipswich Town have returned to the Premier League after a gap of 22 years, in what has been a massive comeback in the Championship. They join Leicester City as the two teams to receive automatic promotion to the first division for 24/25. On the other hand, Leeds United, Southampton, West Brom and Norwich City will be contesting the playoffs for the final spot.
Kieran McKenna took over the Tractor Boys when they were 12th in League One, the third division in England. And now, they have managed back to back promotions and have returned to the promised land.

McKenna left Manchester United to take over as the manager of Ipswich Town, and has done an incredible job of transforming the team. With the promotion to the top flight, the manager will receive another transfer window boost to help improve the team.
After spending only £4 million in last summer’s transfer window, we can perhaps expect McKenna to be backed more considering how effective he has been. The club was recently sold to American investors for around £40 million, further improving chances of survival next year.
