Manchester United have defeated Coventry City 4-2 on penalties to set up a Mancunian derby in the FA Cup finals. The Red Devils were cruising in the game, and went 3-0 up before Coventry almost won the game with a miraculous comeback.
Goals from Scott McTominay, Harry Maguire and Bruno Fernandes helped Erik Ten Hag’s men go ahead in the game. With all of their senior central defenders out injured apart from Harry Maguire, Casemiro was played as a centre-back.

Two goals in ten minutes from Simms and Callum O’Hare helped the Championship club find their way back in the game. And to set up an incredible finish to the game, Haji Wright scored from the penalty spot seven minutes into injury time to add 30 more minutes.
Coventry thought they had won the game at the end of additional extra time, with a well-taken goal from Victor Torp. However, VAR ruled the goal out for offside and the game had to be decided on penalties.
Casemiro missed the first penalty to set up a tense finish, but later in the shootout, O’Hare and Ben Sheaf couldn’t convert either. And in the end, Rasmus Hojlund scored the winning penalty to set up a Manchester derby for the Cup.
