Top Indian B-School Global Ranking 2024
The Financial Times (FT) 2024 Global MBA Rankings featured six B-schools in India. The Global MBA Rankings 2024 include a list of the top 100 full-time MBA programs in the world.
The other Indian B-schools that have made the global list are XLRI—Xavier School of Management—IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, and IIM Lucknow. XLRI-Xavier School of Management, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, and Indian Institute of Management Lucknow are other Indian B-schools listed in the global ranking.

1.Jamshedpur’s XLRI
Rank: 99
The Society of Jesus (Jesuits) operates the private business school Xavier School of Management (XLRI, formerly known as Xavier Labour Relations Institute) in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India. It is one of the oldest business schools in India, having been established in the steel city of Jamshedpur in 1949.
2. IIM, Lucknow
Rank: 85
In the Management Category, IIRF 2024 placed IIM Lucknow sixth, whereas NIRF 2023 ranked it sixth. Additionally, the Institute was ranked 85th in the FT Global MBA 2024 Rankings. Through international competitions and exchange programs, the institute exposes its students to a global audience.
3. Calcutta’s IIM
Rank: 67
Among India’s top three business schools is IIM Calcutta. It was founded in 1961 with assistance from the Ford Foundation, the West Bengal government, the Sloan School of Management (MIT), and a large amount of support and participation from the Indian business community.
4. IIM, Bangalore
Rank: 47
Located in Bangalore, India, the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, also known as IIMB or IIM Bangalore, is a public business school and an Institute of National Importance. It was the third IIM to be founded, following IIM Calcutta and IIM Ahmedabad, and it was founded in 1973.
5. Ahmedabad’s IIM
Rank: 41
The institute was founded in 1961 and offers several executive training programs, fellowships, and master’s degree programs in management and agribusiness management. Ravi J. is the founding director of the institute.
6. Hyderabad’s ISB
Rank: 31
The esteemed MBA programme offered by the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, sometimes commonly known as ISB Hyderabad, is widely recognized. In 2001, the institute was established. In addition to its main campus in Hyderabad, it also runs a parallel campus in Mohali, Punjab. The best business school in India for research is ISB Hyderabad, according to the FT Global MBA Ranking 2023.
