Robinhood: Plot Expectations
Venky’s promotional materials for “Robinhood” seem to have sparked confusion among the audience regarding Nithiin’s character in the film. Initially, the title reveal suggests that he portrays a thief who believes he has the authority to rob anyone. However, on the actor’s birthday, his first look depicted him dressed as an agent, adding to the perplexity. Notably, his t-shirt even bore the inscription “Agent RH for Robinhood.”

‘Robinhood’s Female Cast Yet To Be Confirmed
Initially, when the project was announced, Rashmika Mandanna was slated to play the female lead in “Robinhood,” reuniting with Nithiin and Venky after they collaborated on “Bheeshma.” However, due to scheduling conflicts, she had to step down from the project. Currently, Rashmika is occupied with her commitments to “The Girlfriend,” “Rainbow,” “Pushpa,” and “Kubera.”
The makers have not yet made an official announcement regarding her replacement. However, according to reports, Sreeleela, known for her role in “Guntur Kaaram,” or Raashii Khanna, are expected contenders for the female lead role. Nithiin was last seen in “Extra Ordinary Man,” an action-comedy directed and written by Vakkantham Vamsi.
Nithiin’s “Robinhood” vs. Naga Chaitanya’s “Thandel in A December Box Office Showdown
Nithiin and Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming films, “Robinhood” and “Thandel,” respectively directed by Venky Kudumula and Chandoo Mondeti, are set to go head-to-head at the box office on December 20. This clash will also involve competition from the Hollywood film “Mufasa: The Lion King,” adding further intrigue to the cinematic showdown.
Dubbed the ‘Thandel vs Robinhood’ clash, fans are already taking sides in anticipation of the upcoming battle. Some are humorously remarking that the “December 20 date war” has reignited, drawing parallels to the clash between Sai Dharam Tej’s “Prati Roju Pandaage” and Balakrishna’s “Ruler” in 2019, where Ravi Teja’s “Disco Raja” had to postpone its release to 2020.
