This is the first time that a newly promoted Bundesliga team has won against Bayern Munich since 2000. To make things even more grim for Bayern Munich, this is the first time they have lost more than five games in the season since 2011/12. It shows the incredible standards they have set for themselves over the last decade. In addition, it also marks a significant decline and the need for a restructuring of the club.
Harry Kane scored his 32nd Bundesliga goal of the season in the defeat against Heidenheim, leading the top scorer race by eight goals. But, it seems unlikely that he will be winning any silverware this season unless Bayern can find a way to win the Champions League.
