Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Chennai Super Kings at home, earning their second win of the IPL season.
Chennai Super Kings put up a total of 165/5 in their 20 overs, after batting first. Shivam Dube led the order in terms of the runs scored with 45 from 24 balls to help his side put up a respectable score. But, contributions from Ajinkya Rahane and Ravindra Jadeja were vital in helping the team finish strong.

Travis Head, who came on as an impact player, and youngster Abhishek Sharma both scored 30+ runs to help the Sunrisers start their run chase strong. Sharma, in particular, scored an impressive 37 runs in only 12 balls, before being sent back to the dressing room by Deepak Chahar.
While Dube fell short of a half century in the first innings, South Africa’s Aiden Markram scored 50 runs for SRH in the second innings to spearhead their chase. It took him 36 deliveries to get to the half century before being dismissed by Moeen Ali for an LBW.
However, Heinrich Klaasen and NK Reddy were able to see the game through, finishing their run chase with two overs to spare. Reddy scored a six in the first ball of the 18th over to finish things off in style and secure two important points for his team.
