Despite the release of the Galaxy S24 series in January, Samsung is already looking ahead to its flagship the Galaxy S25 Ultra. While specific details are still scarce early rumors are starting to emerge giving us a peek into what Samsung’s upcoming premium smartphone might offer.
The Leaks About Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra
Following the move to a titanium frame for the Galaxy S24 Ultra it seems unlikely that Samsung will introduce changes for the S25 model. The familiar design featuring aligned cameras is expected to remain unchanged. Speculations indicate an increase in display size for the Ultra version potentially reaching 6.9 inches due to bezels.
One of the anticipated upgrades for the Ultra model revolves around its camera system. Leaks suggest improvements in both angle and ultrawide lenses possibly transitioning to a 50MP sensor for the latter. There are also rumors about “capabilities” being introduced to enhance functionality on the telephoto lens, particularly beneficial for video recording.
With expectations of running on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset the Galaxy S25 Ultra is projected to deliver performance enhancements. Leaked benchmarks hint at a boost, in processing power with talks of a core clocking at 4.3GHz rumored as well.
It’s been rumored that Samsung could opt for Exynos chips for the S25 lineup but there’s no official confirmation yet. Considering the battery performance of the Galaxy S24 Ultra with its 5,000mAh capacity battery life shouldn’t be a worry. The Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to come preloaded with Android 15 providing users with all the enhancements and features. Samsung’s Galaxy AI features, introduced with the S24 lineup are expected to make a return possibly with additional enhancements tailored for the Ultra model.
Rumors suggest that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will offer a 16GB RAM option, catering to users who demand maximum performance. Furthermore, an increase in screen size and thinner bezels could enhance the device’s visual appeal and user experience.
