While Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 and Snapdragon 782G SoC were under consideration for Nothing Phone 2a, they went for Dimensity 7200 Pro due to its performance and power efficiency as per the company statement.
Zhu also highlighted a Smart technology developed by their software team that regularly cleans fragmented files, for optimizing read and write speeds. This function is designed to keep the performance of Phone 2a, in its state even after extended usage.
